Not to piss on anyone else's suggestion, but I would suggest just making Generic Crafting Tools..You only need a metal...And I'm pretty sure it's worth more XP...

Grind to Business III by crafting CDEF weapons. Buy some steel and chemicals from the bazaar and grind away until you get there. Then, at your house, you can create a vender from the management terminal. You can drop the vender at your house then. Maintenance is needed to sustain the vender so you must keep track of that too.

Generic crafting tool needs chemical too, although it does give 2-3 more xp points for slightly less (1) resource.

Survey Tools

3 Metals and a Mineral = 4 Metals = 1 Metal, 4 times.

Jedi will be rare and difficult - No
Increased Dev communication - No
CU will balance combat - No
Most of the bugs from launch fixed - No
saintchuck will continue to pay - No

- I supported the CURB, the Devs and the attempt to make SWG a better game and have realized it didn't work so I'm quitting in less than 2 days and won't be tricked into coming back again. Trick me once, shame on you...

k-18 rations give 126 xp and require meat berries nad hide, which if your group hunting for ash you should have in abundence (apart from the berries) Also Manufacturing Mining Harvesters give 600 xp, with a structure and furniture craftingtool. You really must look at your skill tree, examine xp and work out form how much y7ou get per item to find the best items to craft. thats in spirit withthe wole artiasn proffesian.

Peae Salaam, shalom, its all the same thing so **edit** and play!

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."

What I found to work was to create Wind Survey Tools in Practice mode. They're 16 Metal each, but a complexity of 8 which means higher Xp. Also, once you get to Engineering III and you can make harvesters, Business III will come in no time. Great Xp. with harvesters, as long as you don't mind going through dozens of materials.
