I have been trying to craft a high eff. crafting tool, the highest i've been able to make is a +14.

Can anyone give me any suggestion?

Find some ress. with 1000 conductivity (rare)and you can create +15.00

Crafting Stations can go up to 45.00, can't they?

I'm having the same issue. Is+15 the max for a crafting tool?

I'm training Eng 3. Have a +13.5 crafting tool and a +14 crafting station (it was a freebee) and using the best minerals i can find..(upper 900 OC and conductivity). The best crafting tool i can make is an +8.45 (28% initally and then all great success and usually one amazing success during experimentation).

Perhaps this is explained somewhere. But i'm a newb so i haven't had a chance to read through all the forums. but when crafting a tool such as a crafting tool is it better to go for minerals that have a higher conductivity than overall quality? I tried experimenting a bit and the OC seemed most important. When i used minerals with higher Conductivity and Heat resistance (for the thermal shield) the results were lower.

Perhaps I'll have better luck using a higher rated crafting station. Perhaps I can get a master artisan to let me use his crafting station and see if i can get better results.

Ok, thanks I've created a few in the 14 range. I didn't know if they went as high as crafting stations.

Max rating for crafting tool is +15. Max rating for crafting station is +45.

When crafting, look at your schematic. It'll tell you what stats are important for the item you're currently making.

Are the public stations +45 does anyone know?
