I've been grinding xp for artisan and after i had made quitea few items and it started to kick me off in the middle of crafting and spam me with "This crafting session has ended!" and its pissing me off! Has this always been there or what?

Are you using a macro?
you'll use the resources and still get the xp even when it boots you from the session.

From what I've seen, this only seems to happen when you have multiple crafting tools going, at least one creating a crafting tool.
So say you craft a food/chem tool in Tool#1. Then you start making something else in Tool#2. If you are still in the middle of crafting when Tool#1 finishes it's "countdown" (the time it displays before it's ready to be used again), the crafting session you're in the middle of with Tool#2 ends prematurely.
I did some testing, and here's what it looks like:
- Tool#1 must be making a crafting tool. Survey tools or any other artisan items I tried didn't end the second tool.
- Tool#1 must have used "practice" mode. If you don't check the practice box, the second crafting session doesn't end early.
- If you've gone past the resource/component selection in Tool#2, you lose everything. This really sucks.
If you've reached Engineering II, you can try switching to grinding reinforced combat staves. Based on the resource count, you should be able to get more xp per item than you do for crafting tools.

yea I had that probelm with weapon/droid crafting tools, if one tool ends while you're using another, it kicks you out of the crafting session.
but I only had that with the weapon/droid tools
