Step 1) Buy a house deed

Step 2) Build house somewhere at least 1000m from a city

Step 3) Go to the control panel in your house and "Create Vendor"

Step 4)Set your house to be open to the public, else no one can use your vendor

Step 5)Drop the vendor on the floor somewhere in your house and "initialize" it

If there's another way, I don't know it (although that's not saying much....)

No -- you just have to be an architect to make it

Okay, I just got Business IV and now I need to create a vendor and I have a couple of questions about it, so please bear with me.....

First, does Business IV give you the ability to get a person for a vendor ?

Second, how do I put the stuff I want to sell on the vendor ?

Third, I'm putting it in my guild's mall (Deux Soleil, between AH and Eisley) but I want to advertise in Coronet as well. What do I need to do, or what skill do I needto get another NPC to advertise on a different planet like that ?

No, you need at least Novice Merchant.

Second, how do I put the stuff I want to sell on the vendor ?

Click on your vendor like you are buying something off anyonesvendor, if it is your vendor then there wil be a place items for sale button.

Third, I'm putting it in my guild's mall (Deux Soleil, between AH and Eisley) but I want to advertise in Coronet as well. What do I need to do, or what skill do I needto get another NPC to advertise on a different planet like that ?

Easiest way is to use a droid, name the droid something like, "Domins,powerups,tatooine,wpXXXX,-XXXX". Then set the droid on a patrol route through the city and leave it to go do whatever. I have heard that while on patrol a droid will stay on patrol even if you change planets or logout of the game but I have never tested it. Binary Load Lifters are good as walking billboards as they are so big, but they are also one of the most expensive droids.

If you get Novice Merchant, then go up the Advertising Line to the 3rd box, You can register your vendor on the the planetary map. Now this will put your vendor on the vendor list when people look on the Planetary Map(CTRL-V). But it only shows up if that person is on the same planet.

I know that it was true to have a droid patrol while you change planets, but It will disapear after 10 minutes I belive when you logout.

The more effective droid I have found for advertising is and R-2 since usually people will want a closer look and thats when they will see its name.

I have tested this last month. If you set a droid up with patrol points and set it to wander around. It WILL infact stay in-game, until you log in, then it stores itself. I've setup a Treadwell informing people my shop is "MyShop-OneKmEast", and logged out. Then logged in with my 2nd account a few hours later to see if the droid was still around.

The answer to your first question is no.

For answers to the rest, I highly suggest visiting the Merchant forum. The FAQ and many popular threadsposted there should teach you everything you need to know about operating and maintaining your new vender(s).
