alright, the SQG user's manual says that you are awarded crafting XP at two times: First, when you craft an item; Second, when the item is used. After crafting 1001 powerups to be distributed to all of my buddies, with the expectation that there would be a flood of GCXP that would carry me to Eng IV, I am very disappointed. I have yet to recieve a single system message notifying me that I have been awarded GCXP, or any XP for that matter, and I have not observed a noticeable difference on my exp monitor.

so my question is, Is the experience I'm getting so small that using one powerup returns so little I can't see the difference, in which case this secondary exp gain won't affectmy life until after I make master and start mass-producing... insert thing here...?

OR

Is this a feature that never made it into the game, in which case how the heck does ANYONE achieve 1.5 Mil XP in any crafting skill?

thanks in advance

From what I can tell usage XP hasnt ever worked. If it is working, it's so infinitessimal that you wont ever notice it.

It really isnt that hard if you just keep at it. I'd maxed out engineering in artisan before I even realized it...stick to the things that require the most resources..you'll get more xp per item and move closer to Engy 4...

First of all, you don't get a system message for crafting xp.

Now, how did you get these 1000 powerups? Factory, or handcrafted? I don't think you get usage xp if the items were made by a factory.

I have hand crafted and sold hundreds of Droid, Clothing and Food crafting tools with a 14.73 quality so I would supect that people are using them. I have never seen anyXP added to my GC points.

My experience has shown that factory crafted items do not give UXP also... UXP is granted at 10% of the total Crafting XP you gained for the item and is gained as the item is used... For power-ups I've seen it show up after the power-up is mostly used up (maybe 30 uses left)... If you want UXP, I'd recommend hand crafting and giving away to people on hunting trips... Or even better, if you plan on going Merchant later, setup a vendor and put all on the vendor for 1 credit each and set an entry fee on the house for 1 credit also... Then advertise heavily and tell people to limit their purchases to 10 each to allow more people to use them... ^_^

Editted to say that I agree with StryFex03 about the factory crafting... ^_^
