The power in my harvesters depletes faster than it should. Although it appears to be a displya problem (harvester will still run on zero), I am screwed when I redeed.Is this old news to y'all, or is there any advice out there for me?

This is an ongoing problem.
I have lost a lot of power due to redeeding as well....you can get the status to properly display the power if you toggle the harv on/off and then the display will work right. But sometimes I forget to do this before redeeding, especially if I'm in a hurry.

The publish currently on Testcenter (and planned to be pushed to Live on Thursday) has fixed the power display problem.

Thank god it's being fixed, I've fallen victim to this. One of the problems I've run into is that you can't cycle power when the resource has shifted. It will turn off, but without turning it back on it won't fix the power. So you turn it off, redeed, and there goes a bunch of power. You have to choose a new resource, turn it on, then turn it back off in order to not lose power when you redeed.

Glad that hasn't affected me yet. Are they ever gonna fix the animations so that you can see the harvesters move when they're turned on? Grrrr.

You can redeed harvesters? I've just been going for the best stuff at the location where I first plonked them down... no not really... well... actually, that's exactly what I've been doing lately. And yes, power cycling them does reset the power meter. I shut my harvesters down for several days once because they all read zero, and I had no power to add... when I turned them all back on, every single one of them had more than ten days worth of power. (shakes head) I wish I knew about the bug before that...

WOW. I never realized how bad this bug was until today. I checked one of my heavies today, display said it had like 200 power, turned it off, then back on, now the display said it had 18000-some units of power in it...
Good to hear its being fixed..

I've been running a macro on every harvester. Open up the screen for checking the hopper, then run the macro. Macro stops the harvester, then starts the harvester, then opens the status screen. Then I empty the hopper, and check maintenance and power (since they are now updated). Gets to be a real pain, even with a macro, because I have a lot of harvesters to check.

I run the following macro all the time to check status. Its much faster than using the radial dial and easier, and displays the correct power.
/harvesterDeactivate;
/pause .5;
/harvesterActivate;
/pause .5;
/structurestatus;

Did they fix the display bug where ALL harvesters seem to be off when you approach them??
I miss the times when I'd only have to view my harvester from a distance to see if it was still extracting.

As of pre-publish 6 they hadn't fixed it. I don't know about post-Publish 6 yet.
Cheers,
