Thread: Practice bug?

I encountered this problem last night and for some reason can't get around it.

When practicing on items using multiple crafting tools, my open crafting session will be cancelled when another tool finishes practicing an item. I don't remember this happening last night, as I was able to craft fine until about 2am in the morning, when this started happening (I believeright around the time I got Engineering II, actually).

This happens using both my crafting macro and practicing manually.

Any ideas on how to avoid this?

Thanks

try to increase your pause time by a second or 2. I normally have a 4-6 second pause to put in the ingredients and then another 1-3 second pause between the final no item; and the next /ui action

This is a known bug. When making crafting tools in practice mode, when one tool finishes, the other tool will close and finish as well, with no XP and loss of materials.

It seems to only do it when making crafting tools. Try making something else. I'm still trying to get this fixed, it is an acknowledged bug.

thanks Guru, I simply moved on to making extractors (took the advice of another one of your posts) and am selling BER4 ones on the bazaar and in a shop I just set up. This was really annoying, considering the crafting tools granted the most xp.

i hate that bug and i'm glad there working on it however it is still possibale to grind crafting tools you can only do two at a time and you have to time it right and you shouldn't have to worry, however i craft by hand and if you time it right you can still do it however why craft those after eng iii i always switch over to harvesters good fun..........
