Sorry didn't feel like searching.
If I was to survey in a 90% concentration area would it be better as opposed to a 50 or 60% area? Also do you get more experience for surveying something different that mineral, like maybe 60 or 70 xp for a chemcial and 80 to 90 for a gas?

You should get more experience sampling in a 90+ area than in one thats around the 50% mark. Basically, the higher the better. There is more of a chance of digging up something in the 90% area more regularly basically.

The big benifit of the higher concentration is less "failed to find anythings." The amount of survey exp you get for a given sample is a little wacky, but in general you will sample more at a higher spot each time and get more exp.
