Ok I have this scematic for Flora Survey Tool, it requires 8 Metal, 8 metal, 3 Metal, and 8 Mineral.

Well anyway.... I have 60 Copper on me, a Metal... rigth? Well I double click it and it fills one metal slot with teh resources, but it will not accept any other of my copper in the other two slots.

Does that make sense? I thought (obviously wrongly), that you can use ANY metal in a metal slot, but you cant mix metals in teh same slot.

What am I missing here?

You need to double click your copper again to fill the 2nd slot, and then again to fill the 3rd slot. This allows you to pick a different metal for each slot if you want.

or you can click and drag it over to each slot...

yes, this I know.... but it doesnt accept it. It only accepts it in the one slot.

I will try again tonight, because that is how I thought it was supposed to work/

I'd say start over and don't double click, drag it over each box instead.

If that still doesn't work for you, /bug it, because it should work.

It says Metal, Metal, Metal, but it doesnt mean generic "any metal" if you hover over the type in the 'needed'

area, it will tell you a more specific type of metal that is needed.

He said he's using copper, so that should work: Copper is both metal and a mineral, which is what the Flora Survey Tool requires.

If it says Metal, it means any generic metal. The recipe for Flora survey tool states 'Metal' and 'Mineral' (well according to swgcraft.com. I am at work so can't check in game)

It should work exactly as you expect it too. 8 Metal + 8 Metal +3 Metal + 8 Mineral. You should be able to put 8 Copper in one slot, 8 copper in another, 3 in the third, and 8 Mineral in the 4th slot. Or 8 Copper in one slot, 8 Iron in another etc.

I have never tried double clicking to place. I only drag into the slots so I cannot comment on whether that is the issue. If you can't drag your copper into the second slot it sounds like it is bugged
