Right now it's really tough to get an idea of what items are moving. Here's a thought :

How about the ability to buy a market report from an NPC Artisan trainer ? You would be able to buy a market report once per week for say 100 credits. This would drop as a document in your inventory. When you examine it, it can give you a list of items, quantity sold, and average price. This could be per city to not make it too extensive.

Let's get some votes or ideas up here for and something like this.

Any kind of reporting system rather than making a mark on a scratch pad on my desk when emails come in would be welcome!

And by the way! Why email me when one of my items is sold? This is a technological society. My datapad shoud hae an automaticallyupdated report view week by week or month by month.

Email? Doesnt seem right.

Good idea, but in order for the report to be any good, it would be very complicated. A simplified version would be less useful, but I suppose a little helpful.

Saying the average CDEF pistol sold for 20 cr wouldn't be informative because some ar much better than others, and you wouldn't get a good indication of the premium on qualtiey... i suppose you might be able to guess that average price is for average weapon, but I don't know. I suppose I'd like to see it.

If info on sold items is avail in bazarre, a PC could do this work. For it to be worthwhile, you'd have to charge a lot for the report, and hope it wasn't shared.

It would be VERY cool if a PC did it, because the value of the product would be all tied in with the vendors reputation for integrity (i.e. that numbers were correct).

Also, I'm anxious to get feed back on my post below... please read! (listed under FatherIck)
