As a beginning artisan, I was wondering if the knowledgeable veteran
crafters of the game could list the top five or ten resources for the
following categories:

(1) Most difficult materials to obtain and their approximate values;
(2) Most expensive resources (probably corresponds to #1); and
(3) Most popular/purchased and/or sought after.

It would also be great if you could briefly mention some of the uses of
the items you listed. I was thinking of selling some of the things I've
acquire to more advanced artisans who could make better use of the them
instead of squandering the materials to low-level experiments. It would
seem to be more beneficial for both parties.

Right now I need ore, bone and hide. I have harvesters kinda set up for the other things I need. But a lot of artisans need Steel/Aluminum and there are two chemicals that I can never spell right Fiberplast and Polymer (sp)

I am a novice artisan on Rori in Narmle (Corbantis). I'm only just getting started but there are some pretty rich deposits of link-steel aluminum near town. They've been selling at a decent rate at about 10c per unit. Containers of 10 and 20 sell pretty good. Mythra copper at around 15c per unit are not doing well at all, which surprises me. Gemstones (I forget which types) are not moving at all. Like I said, I'm just getting started and maybe I'm selling to low (or high?) but I'm having lotsa fun!

I hope to have Server and planet fields available shortly. Also I will try and get a voting system in place to try and have them ranked by rarity of being found to better help you.

Any other suggestions to make things easier for you guys would be appreciated.

I'm at naboo on the Kauri server, and I am having a hard time finding any good percentages of the 2nd type of aluminum thats on that planet. I think it's better quality than the other aluminum type, which is way easier to find.

For those of you that are having a hard time finding bone, meat, and hide, have you considered taking up scout? I know that's not a viable solution for all, but it worked for me.
