This might seem like an elementary question, but how do you do it? I am at Eng 2 right now, so last night I created myself some bone armor boots, whichI did it at the Armor and Food crafting machine in town. I was told that if I made it there then I should be able to mess with the experimental points during the process, but it never let me do so. During the process it skipped from step 3 to step 6, and I'm assuming that the experimental stuff is either step 4 or 5. Anyways, any help on this will be appreciated.

You have to be using a crafting tool that has the same name as the crafting station that you are standing by. So if you are standing by a "Armor and Food Crafting Station" then you have to be using a "Armor and Food Crafting Tool".

You can buy one off the bazaar, or make on yourself. You will know you have it right cause there will be a screen come up right after you click on Assemble that asks you if you want to make a prototype, a manufacturing schematic, or Experiment.
