yes it is a big jump, but they don't want you to level too fast.

Whats the point of an MMORPG if you can Max all your skills in less then the free month peroid?

I think its fine right now.

I guess you are right.. It's just irritating to have to wait. But months from now we will probably be happy it took so long.

It's just really frustration when you hear some are already building PA Halls. Are they Exploiting or what?

I think the point of this MMORPG is to own a home, building cities, participating in the Galactic Civil war, start a PA, run a business, RolePlay in the best MMORPG for Roleplayers yet.

I could care less about the excitement of gaining a level.. It’s just something I’m forced to do before I can really start playing the game. Like they said, the game doesn’t really start until after you’ve spent all your skill points.

No, the PA builders aren't exploiting. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you forego the need to bathe, eat, or leave your computer for a week. ;-)

Yeah, I'm on the DE road, and it's a painful one . . .

I am sort of glad that the XP costs for the higher skills in armor smith and weapon smith are very high. I want to become a weapon smith eventually. I am tired of trying to sell weapons in the bazzar when every newbie from tatooine to naboo are selling junk cdef pistols, rifles, and carbines. 450 cdef guns is a little high. So maybe the higher XP amounts will keep all of the yahoos from flooding the market.

21000 just to get to novice weaponsmith, and it only gets bigger from there.... to get the 4th level of ranged weaponsmith for example you need something like 70000 exp... that is going to take FOREVER unless I am missing something

Preach on.. It's 33000 for NOVICE Architect. NOVICE. Going from needing 6000 XP to 33000 is huge.

it is crazy, but I beleive it can be done in a day... but dang, your fingers afterwards...

I"m looking foward to haveing fun as a tailor, not being the master-merchant type of person... probably one of these people who pop into the cantina and tip the dancers with my lastet creations...

if you're in this game just 'to be the best', you might be in the wrong place...

That's what they have mineral and resource extractersfor artisans. Will still take a while, butthink of how long it would take if artisansdidn't get the extracters.

Yes Gaius, it is, but if everyone could accomplish everything from start (read first week or month), nothing of all that would be worth anything. Some of us, and I hope and beleive that it is most of us, see this as a long time, talking years here now, pleasure, not a fast paced "done that, been there, got the T-shirt" little amusement for some weeks before school begins.

And this game is designed for us. And I am really happy that it is.

LOL.. I'm SOOO glad getting to the top is as difficult as it is. SOOOOOOO glad. That means whenever someone finally does get there, they'll be honored for it.

One of the things I absolutely HATED about Asheron's Call was the lack of a clear and defined goal. When the game first started, getting to level 126, or 4BILLION XP, seemed like an impossible task... now people get there in less than a month and anyone that actually earns their way to 126 is merely shrugged at...

I DREAD the day that happens to this game. It's inevitable though.. SOE has already proven that they don't act fast enough when an exploit is discovered... They'll release a monthly patch and it'll allow people to level 50x faster.. everyone will do it and the game will be over. It always happens. Sigh.
