Im new to this and am seeking some help. I am curious if there is a chemical that is worth harvesting for cash and crafting. Or if there are more than one. I know Fibroplast and polymer are the main ones, but not realy sure whats worth what. thx.

Almost all the chemicals are worth "something." The problem are they worth harvesting. Each chemical will have varying values for the quality of each stat. You'll need to use a site like swgcraft.com to help you figure out which ones will be good and bad. A good resource for armorsmiths may be a terrible resource for tailors. Do you homework before you harvest, or harvest them all and hope for the best. I choose to be specific and picky, no sence in harvesting crud unless you want to sell grind materials.

It was already mentioned in passing, but I thought I'd point you specifically at the "resource usage" link on swgcraft.com. You can choose a resource type (say, "chemical") and it will return back all the crafter schematics that require that type. You can check through the individual schematics to see what stats are important for those schems to see if you're pulling up something that's high quality, or if it's more suited for grinding or non-experimentable items.

Just as a word of warning: it does find only schematics that specifically require the category you picked. So if you pick "chemical", it'll only list items that call for generic "chemical". If you want a full listing, you'll have to pick "chemical", then "fiberplast" & "Inert petrochem" & "Liquid petro fuel", then the sub-types of those. The "resource tree" link is a good way to check the relationships between the various resource categories.
