Thread: What do I need to place vendors down?

I am pretty sure you need some artisan or something but i always wanted a vendor just never knew how to put one down or anything.

Yeah, you need some Artisan, I forgot what level. When you're online and playing, check the Artsian skills tree by clicking on each box, starting with novice andworking up. One of the levels will tell you in the columns below that you can place a vendor.

You need Business 3 in artisan to place your first vendor. Continuing up the business branch and onto merchant will grant you more vendors and more item space on them.

You also need someplace to put it. 
Your own building, or admin access to somebody else's building. I've heard rumors that you can put vendors in POB spaceships, but that doesn't seem too useful.

and then if i pick up artisan and place a vendor, then drop all of artisan can i still use that vendor?

Yes but you won't be able to place any new items up for sale.
Eventually everything will expire and the vendor will poof.
