Vehicles

  • There is no longer a 15-45 second delay on calling vehicles.
  • Disabled AV21's andJetpacks can now be repaired at garages.

It's a note on the newest TC patches notes here.

Plus, these are items that are difficult to obtain, particularly the Jetpack - and they should be rare.

Now people who have them can use them with impunity....

yet in the end it makes the game more fun. whats the point of having anything if you cant use it?knew a guy who had a jetpack but made the mistake of typing /du and had his destroyed. and then theres jedi who are open to pvp at any time thus they might not want to use their av21.

the bad thing about this change is that it might work like how barcs are repaired. i dont want them repairing for free, cause i think thats just wrong but they should be able to repair.

Now change calling pets outside of combat to the same "no-timer" rule and I'd be happy.

Since the CU they have really been nerfing crafters. This ability to repair AV21s and Jetpacksat garages is a bad idea. While I agree they should be repairable when disabled, because of how expensive they are, they should have turned the BARC repair kit into a Vehicle Repair Kit (that works on ALL vehicles), and reduce the resource requirements of the kit from 1500 units to 500 units of asteroid. At least then, crafters would still have business from those who already own an AV21.

I prefer the repair kit idea myself.

Vehicle repair kit would be cool. But then vehicle market would decline. So they would have to institute a "death decay" in my opinion

Various repair kits would be nice. Instead of one all encompasing kit.

I came here not to troll but to say that when I have the credits, I may actually buy an AV-21 now. I don't think you'll have to worry about business.

The jetpack is still hard to obtain, but now people won't be afraid to use it. This means that there will be more variety in the game as you'll see it more than once every two months. Will you see it daily on a thousand people? I doubt it. For one it's still slow. However, now people can use their vehicles again without having them destroyed by random wild spawn. This isa good thing, especially for artisans.

And do i think that the "BARC Repair kit" should have been made into the "Vehicle Repair kit"? Yes. However, there may now be a price associated with repairing barcs/jetpacks/av-21s at the garage. At least we can hope as much.

Well, once again there will be a boon for these vehicles....which will line the pockets of the 'Loot Acquisition Specialists'. Sooner or later the market will saturate with the AV-21s. There will always be a market for our disposable vehicles....as back up to disabled vehicles. We will also be needed to build the flood of AV-21s coming our way.

Anyone still believe the ability to repair a disabled Barc speeder at a garage was a bug? If so, I have a bridge for sale....
