is there some place that keeps up-to-date lists on what the best resources are and where and when they are spawning? I'm asking this because i simply do not have time anymore to travel from planet to planet to planet and survey for the best resources.

They don't list the exact locations and concentrations but they do list the planets.

Click current resources on the left-hand side.
