I'm pretty fed up dying around my factories. And the corps runs of all has been replaced with Harvester runs. "Will I make it this time?"
Give us a vehicle that you must have artisan to use.
A layer off armor that covers the vehicle condition. Which is the final protection of the driver inside.
Shouldn't be too hard to arrange, and certainly not too much to ask for.

I am a LvL 1 and I have found that if I group with a LvL 80 then I dont get agro'd so much, also I was able to take more damage and kill higher lvls too.

I recently took my CL1 Master Armorsmith to Dath to survey. As soon as I landed I grouped with a CL80 and did my surveying as well as dropping 10 deep crust harvestors.
No camoflauge, no mask scent, just drive slow avoid aggro and and run like hell when I did aggro something. All from the back of my swoop.

Thanks to multipassenger vehicles. So easy to have my defender with me. But it shouldn't be mandatory.
Comon, who wants to tag along with a crafter for along time period surveying?

You don't have to have anyone tag along while you survey just get in a CL80 group and go on your merry way.

the pre-pre-nerf republic blasters help too, if you can get your hands on a decent one it works wonders.

I just picked up smuggler and called it a day. Yea im only level 55 but I stand a chance to either duke it out or run like heck.
But if you want to be a pure crafting template the devs already stated shove it in a few more, nicer words.
