I just tried to place my first wind vane and the darn thing won't set. If I use the deed and I can't place the generator does that mean I lost that rig? Am I right in assuming I have to place the rig in the yellow? I escaped out and tried to place it in another area but the yellow larger area stayed in the original position.

You want to place it on a green spot. Yellow means there is a unbuildable area, from either a spawn, no build zone, to close to a city, ect. Red means its not placeable at all, being a raven, to steep, water, ext. You will have less problems of that witha personal harvester. So, look for a green spot, it will work, you haven't lost it. When it dissappears from your inventory, there should be a red fence with a structure in the middle. it will poof and your harvester will appear.

As for editing your posts, you have to have to post....ur.....a lot first before you get that privilage. Why, we don't know, its just how they made it.

Yes, thanks i just went to another spot on my home Planet and it's humming away I kbnow red me stop and green means go but for some reasing i linked the red to the red in my survey device, ie red was. I have it now no yellow no red.
