The other night I had someone request a Weapon Repair Tool with all optional components (side note: what is the droid storage compartment for anyway?). So I made one and only could get it experimented up to around 88%. She took it and said her T21 was down to 100/1000 and she wanted to repair it. There I sat, biting my nails, wiping sweat from my brow, when suddenly she lets out a great CHEER and starts jumping up and down--T21 repaired to 900/900!!!! Quite the harrowing experience. Not that I would have been responsible for any accident or anything, I told her exactly what the percentage was when I gave it to her. But what a supreme disappointment that would have been if it had destroyed that way-out-of-my-price-range gun!!!

Grats Kasuta. ...and thanks for sharing a "feel good" story on the forum. Sometimes we don't take the time to tell some of these and focus on the negative.

You raise an important note too. If asked to repair a weapon, make sure the asker knows that they might get a poof (no weapon left). I try to give the person the tool and have them do it themself after explaining that their gone might be gone.

More happiness for my thread, it seems that one of the bugs fixed in the upcoming patch will possiblybe an NPC in Kor Vella about whom I had submitted tickets for him not letting me finish his mission. Yay! And I can already see it coming, please don't post in this thread about complaints that haven't been fixed yet. You can start a new thread for that. This is a happy thread!

And thanks to Permathrin for your comments. Yes, I warned her that the gun could go 'poof' but since condition was less than 100 she didn't really have any other choice. Ahhhh someday I myself will have 10 billion bucks to spend on a rifle...oh wait the baz nitches are fixed, maybe I won't.
