Thread: Does UXP exist?
It does exist, but I don't know if you have to be online for it or not.
I know it exists because one time I was looking at my crafting XP, which was something like 600. Then, a while later, after just talking to people in the cantina, I looked at it again, and it now said 603. Unless I get crafting XP for making bad jokes, that must have been UXP.
No.
I start with "No" because you shouldn't even bother thinking about UXP in your daily life. It comes in incredibly slowly, you only get it when you're logged in, and you have to be on the same planet as the person using your stuff to even get the UXP (that's a rumor, though...I think you have to be within the vicinity). All in all, UXP is a joke. Don't get your hopes up.
I remember the devs said it would be 20% crafting 80% use for XP.
Boy that was a joke. More like 99.99999% crafting and well you get the picture.
UXP does exist. I have accrued 1150 gcxp since I made novice architect, and I had stopped crafting when I did, butit trickles in very slowly. I suspect, but cant prove, that we lose uxp when there are server problems.
The rates are supposed to be:
50% consumables
100% structures
150% all other items.

I must have sold on the order of 100 weapon power-ups on the bazaar. I know people are using them because I often sell to the same customers over and over. Yet, I do not think I have received 1 point of UXP, *ever*.
Is there any way to tell? Why can't I log on an get an email saying "You have been awarded 'n' points of Crafting Experience due to use"?
I recall hearing that you have to be online to get it? That, to coin a phrase, 'suxxx0rz'. I log on, check harvesters, survey, do some delivery missions, craft, post to the bazaar, and log out. I'm not going to sit for hours waiting for someone to use something I've made.
