Ok, so it seems I can no longer experiment with the items I create. I load up my crafting tool, select the item to create (step 1/6), select the resources and hit next (2/6), crafting summary (3/6) and then it jumps to the item creations screen (6/6). I have tried making weapons, clothing, weapon power-ups etc and none of them give me the option to expirment with the item. Is there something I am doing wrong or is there a bug out there right now?

Forgot to mention, I was able to craft and experiment without any problems a few days ago, it seems like all of a sudden crafting is just skipping steps.

I really hate to have to ask this, but where are you trying to do this experimenting?

Well, I will answer what I think I know already.

You have to be standing in front of a Crafting "Station" (Either Public or Private) to experiment. Public Crafting stations are located in Cities.

If this is not your problem I did not mean to insult your intelligence.

Sometimes you have to stand nearly on top of the crafting station to get experiment to work. Othertimes the range is much better and you can stand fairly far away.

This is also more of a problem if you are in a location where there are several different types of crafting stations close together. They don't seem to play well together.

In my house, I used to only have a clothing/armor crafting station, and I could craft anywhere in the house. I've added a wep/droid/general station, and now I have to nearly be on top of either station for them to work.

You also can't experement with the generic crafting tool.

You will also have that problem if you have a crafting droid. It's crafting range will block out whatever station you are next to. Put any droids away.

I once had somebody's Droid prevent me from experimenting. It was really weird:

I was standing in front of a crafting station, using my specialized tool, happily experimenting away. Next thing I know, this guy walks up with a Droid in tow. (I think it was a Droid with a crafting module.) The next product I made, I couldn't experiment on it.

I repeated to the same result. In a quandry, I took a wild guess and asked the guy to Store his Droid. Sure enough: I could experiment again. I suppose it could've been something else and the Droid was coincidental, I never experimented (pardon the pun) to try to reproduce the problem.

Just a thought.
