Thread: New Crafter .... need links to a few good guides

Hey all,
Just starting to get into the crafting portion of SWG and I'm just a LITTLE overwhelmed. I could use some help finding good guides/posts that explain alot of the ideas behind crafting (materials, experimentation, tools, etc). No need to repost, but if you have a link to a good site or post, just copy and paste it and I will check it out.
I do have some specific quesitons though.
1. Crafting tools have a range of what to what (- to +)? (posative is good right?)
2. Crafting stations have a range of what to what? How do crafting tool and crafting station numbers relate to each other.
3. Does it matter which planet a resource comes from or do just the OQ matter?

1. -15 to 15. !5 being the best.
2. Dame deal as above.
3. Yes and no. Usually, Lok bone or hide is better then naboo bone or hide, but I have found some ore on corellia that was in the 950's for every stat. Id depends on what you are looking for I guess.
