Thread: Not a newbie, but a stupid quesiton none-the-less: Factory XP
If so, then it seems broken to me. I recently acquired a Food & Chem factory (for making stimpacks mostly) and have noticed that I acquire NO XP for creating Stims or their components (either Medical Crafting or General Crafting).
I sat last night and watched my experience monitor as my factory ran through a schematic of 100 units of liquid suspension and I received NO XP for it (liquid suspension DOES produce general crafting XP right? -- even if not, I was watching for other XP being generated).
Am I missing something stupid here? I remember a bug about factory XP (it was granting too much) but if I remember correctly, they REDUCED it, not elimited it.
Thanx!
I havent checked because im master artisan and DE, but when I craft stims I thought I got medical or whatever it is crafting XP maybe this is the same for factory stims?
I have seen the exp counter go up when near my factory. In fact it isn't a bad way to tell how far the batch has progressed -- the small scale exp doesn't make much difference on progress.
Medical crafting exp is what you get from components for medical items, not GCX,
What I wonder about is usage experience from factory items. I don't seem to get any and I know a lot of my product is getting used up. Is it supposed to be full usage exp or scaled down to 1/10 like the crafting experience is? If there is even a minimum of 1 point when a powerup is consumed, I would expect to see it.
Is UXP broken again perhaps?
I've never seen uxp work and I've traded surveying and crafting tools with buddies several times. But then I haven't written down my xp numbers when I log off and then checked when I logged on. Perhaps I should ...
I have also noticed factory exp jump slightly when I run by my factories, but factory exp is too slow and not worth depending on.
