Thread: is master really worth it?
Can anyone tell me what the real benifit to being a master artisan is?
I do not feel getting a little edge in craft experimenting to be worth it so are any of the item we get at master level worth it? are any of them items that are needed to make other items by other classes?
Any information will be appreciated.
Yes it's worth it for the electronics components alone.

The Electronic componets are needed for a number of Droid Engineer items.

It's my friend ExarDun! What luck finding you on the Artisan forums.
I think Master Artisan is only worth it if you're a droid engineer. Architects can leave out the optional components from the items that they need from DE's and Master Artisans as well, I speculate.
pff! I have no friends on the boards ![]()
im a CH afterall ![]()
So other than a component for a DE and one for an Architect there really isnt a reason for mastering I take it? I may do it afterall if they get around to boosting the power of droids. I was just hoping for a few more reasons to do it.
I took MA yesterday just because I have loads of AP stacked and can almost afford another master already.
The components are used by DE, Architect, and WS (for high level guns).
For these components to lead to a good end product you need the extra experimentation points to make them uber. MA can also mkae the best schematics for factory made items.
DE's need that many components for their advanced models, that making them is a chore and they may not be MA.
MA makes components *for* components which is a pain to have to worry about when you need X amount of them for your advanced droid.
I will prolly stockpile a lot of stuff before I decide to surrender the skill in favour of something higher up the tree...
