Is it just me or did I just never notice this before.

It used to be that, of course, surveying took mind points.

But sampling used to just take the green action points.

Now, as of the last 2 days, it looks like I use both mind AND action while sampling. Was this a change that was not announced? Or was it announced and I just didn't know?

I think that it always used mind...the difference was in the amount. Most of us regenned the mind quickly enough not to notice the drain. Now that the cost has inceased...well, we notice it.

Oh, so there was in fact a change recently? And it was in the *amount* of mind cost? That would make sense because I know I only noticed this since last night.

But unless you've misgrated a whole *beep* load of points to health or action from mind, then you won't really notice will you? It doesn't bother me, and I've lowered my mind pool to make more action.

Amazing how many things can be said without answering the direct question.

From this last post, it is implying there was indeed an increase in the amount of mind cost for sampling... correct?

I have not migrated any points from mind and now *I* notice a BIG increase in how my mind pool is draining from sampling.

I noticed a bit of a ding, specifically on the first sampling, but, with my mind being in the 1100 range and my secondary stats for mind in the 700, and 550 range, I haven't noticed any *major* mind pool loss while sampling.

Are you running out of Mind Pool points while sampling now?
