I've noticed you can use faction points to buy schematics, and I have a question I hope someone can answer

Are theschematics usable with crafting tools by characters without the appropriate skills (i.e. are they draft schematics)?

If they are only usable in factories (i.e. they are treated like an experimental schematic) what determines the resources they require (and surely this is a waste of faction point since the resources will move within 8 days leaving that schematic useless)

Does no one know the answer to this then?

I wish I did have an answer for you, I didn't even know there was a rumor of schematics being available for factions. I might have to get on my Rebel missions and find out.

I think the schematics are droid schematics (R2,R3,R4, R5 droids).

I wish I knew the answer to your question. I have batted it around a few time just to pick up one of the schematics and see what it dose. I think (and that usually is a bad thing) that the schematics you get from faction points are just like the experimental ones. Thus giveing them a specific number of uses. If anyone knows for sure, please let us know.

I guess the problem is that playersmoving up through the faction points system will be PvP-types and therefore buying pets and equipment with their points rather than schematics....
