Thread: Need some answers that I couldn't find in the faq.

I looked in the faq but I still have some minor problems. I have two questions about artisan. Can a novice artisan place and use heavy harvestors with an extraction rate of 13? Also, how many lots do heavy harvestors take up? I'm curious if you can do all this since I need to place harvestors soon. Thanks!

Anyone can place any size harvester, there's no certification to worry about. Of course, without survey skills you either have to take your chances (or place next to existing harvesters) or hire someone to survey what you're looking for.
All harvesters take up one lot, require 30 credits/hour per size (so personals are 30, mediums 60, heavies 90) and require 25 units of power/hour per size (25 -> 50 -> 75).
Power generators (wind, solar, fusion) all need the same maintenance, 60 credits per hour and no power and also only take up one lot.

Wow! Thanks! I'm sure glad I can place any harvestor! By the way, what are good prices for Heavy Mineral and Heavy Flora harvestors?

That depends on the server. On Chilastra mediums go for 15k-60k and heavies go for 80-250k.
