to avoid the bug use this macro if you want to practice an item:
/nextCraftingStage;
/nextCraftingStage;
/nextCraftingStage;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/createPrototype practice no item;
How to use this: sleect the schematic and fill all the resources in for the item. Next hit the function key for your PRACTICE ITEM MACRO. This will INSTANTLY assemble and complete the item in PRACTICE MODE with no experimentation.
USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Remember that if you make this macro you're 1 keystroke away from blowing away millions of credits in resources! I've not yet blown away anything expensive, but it's just a matter of time.
Don't know if this bug is new or old, but sometimes you'd put say 5K maintenance and 5K power on a harvester and the day after the status would show like 4K maintenance left but only 1K power left.
By stopping/Starting the harvester it does revert on the status window to 4K left on power though...
Experimentation will _always_ result in 'amazing success' but no change in % or bar when stat is at zero regardless of if it starts at 0 or is reduced to 0 by any kind of failure (so not just a crit fail)
Issue i dont know if anyone has seen but.
Basicaly i was 4-4-4-2 for artisan yestorday and happy crafting BER 4 personal mineral extracters with almost 0 fails on experimenting (getting +75% on experiment). Today i got to master artisan and still using the same equipment and same resorces and in the same place as yestorday and the max i get is +71% so only a BER 3 extracter. Anyone else had this problem that they seem to be worse at Master Skill?
It appears to happen when you construct an item, then open a different crafting tool and construct the *exact same* item with the same resources. If the second crafting window (any stage) is still open when the first finishes building, the second will close with the "crafting session ended" message.
Harvester bugs are really irritating me lately (since the last patch).
I have a lot of harvesters going into negative power. I add power, and end up with less than I put in. The message is very clear about that as it is all on one line. That makes it hard to tell what is being used, they seem to use more that they should.
I have had some refuse to turn on until re-deeded. A waste of cash, when you put it in the same place.
I have one (med gas) that refused to turn off for re-deeding. I let it run out of maint, and now it claims I have to empty the hopper, even though I did the "empty hopper" more than once. I am sure it has negative power now, but will adding power really fix it? It is an old low rate, and I would let it rot except for the spam issue and the waste of the lot.

turn the harvester off and back on first then it will read the correct power. If you can't turn the harvester off then get of the mount (including vehicle) and try again. If still will not turn off then disconnect/reconnect. If Still cant turn off then you have discovered a new bug to report.
Be sure to turn the harvester off/on/off before redeeding it or the power "hidden" behind the 0 will be lost.
