Thread: Survey-device on landspeeder?

Okay now, picture running around in your sweet big bulky landspeeder, and every now and then just survey. No stopping, no /unmounting, no warping 150 meters into an angry mob, no mounting back up again. Just keep on going.
Making it possible to put a survey-device in the landspeeder. And I mean the X34, not the swoop or speederbike. I think this is good both for balancing and rp-issues.
I guess I could rant and rant about this idea, but I think you get the point...
Ideas?

I think this is a great idea! I think that they should make it ilke a droid and be able to out moduals in the landspeeder. Things like storage and survey! man that would be great!

I also think that you should be able to utilize the passenger seat!!!

I think they should make family versions of the x34 with back seats, for those times we want to get funky with a droid.

(Bit of a rant for once, heh
Why not just fix the warping problem 
(I know it's probably complicated and they're still "not sure of the cause" ... but it's annoying as hell!)
(End mini-rant)
I usually find /dismount..../mount macro works pretty well but being able to use the X34 as a surveying vehicle would be good until the warping thing was fixed!

They also need to fix the fact that sometimes you cannot store the landspeeder (dont seem to have a problem with my swoop). It dosent give you an error message, it just wont store. anyone else have this problem?

Hack for the warping:
/wave;
/pause 1;
/dismount;
I've been using a macro like this for a month and no warping. Basicly the problem is the server dosen't always know where you are, especially with the speeds of vehicles. You warp cause the server thinks you are cheating and have gone further than you should have been able. This macro does an action that tells the server exactly where you are, and that you are on a vehicle, so you won't be thrown back. Hope this helps.

Had a problem with my speederbike not being store-able on the Ahazi server recently. It could not be stored from either the datapad or the vehicle radial. Odd thing was, a second "copy" of it could be generated and this copy COULD be stored. This was inside Theed area.
On Chilastra my problem seems to be arches - ride through an arch and the vehicle is "out of range" for subsequent actions.
Just more bugs we gotta live with.

how about an artisan needs to get this component for the survery device from a droid engineer?
