I'm sure you've seen this question a million times, but I must know this. What would you say, for a Master Artisan, wouldbe the best way to gain General Crafting Experience fast or in large amounts? What gives out the most, or what costs the least amount of resources?

Harvesters are easy, but requre a few different types of resources. Still, it works out well, because while you're grinding them you can work on getting good metal to upgrade the ones you're using to a higher BER.

I have been using a weapon crafting device to craft everything i make. I have found that if i use a specific crafting tool i am not able to perform experimentation on the item i am crafting. Why is this? When i use the weapon crafting device i am able to experiment. Is this normal or is the specific crafting devices malfunctioning in some way?
Please help

It's a goofiness with the weapon tool.
In order to experiment, you have to be using a specialized tool and standing next to a crafting station of the same type. A Weapon/Droid/General Item tool is only supposed to count as a specialized tool for...well, weapons, droids, and the stuff that doesn't fit into the other tools' categories (food, armor, BE clones, harvesters, etc).
It worked like that until around October, when the WDG tool got the ability to craft anything. But to experiment while using it, you have to stand next to a WDG crafting station. If you use a food/chem tool and stand next to a WDG station, you can't experiment. If you use a WDG tool next to a food/chem station, you also can't experiment.
If you're using a droid with a crafting module, you have to use a tool type matching the type of module (they have the same options as tools/stations: general, clothing, food, structural). Unfortuantely, you can't tell by examining the droid what modules it has installed.
