Thread: Resource 'spawning' patterns?

Please forgive me if this question has been asked before. Is there a 'schedule' or pattern to the 'spawning' of resources? I mean if a mineral is found and I set up a harvester. How long will the resource be available? And if there is a schedule, do all resources spawn? Or is it by planet? Or by type?

Thank you for any and all help...

It's been asked a trillion times, but hey, we all started at the bottom, so don't worry about it. Resourcesare completey random. They come and go as they please. Some things stay for 4 days to a week, some stay for 2 weeks. Some planets get the same spawns, other more rare resources tend to show up on challenge planets. There is no schedule, and no pattern. You need to be pro-active if you aremining resources. It's as simple as opening your survey tool outside a building and seeing what has changed. If a resource that you placed a harvester on is not listed in the survey tool, then it has rotated out and you need to move it, orset it to something else.

With Publish 8 DE's are getting a survey module that will go and survey other planets. Very handy, in that you no longer have to buy a ticket and go there just to see what is available to collect.

useswgcraft.com. It's an invaluable resource for artisans, crafters, and resource miner types.
