I am looking to go towards shipwright, and i have 4/0/2/0 in artisan. What can i make that gets me the most experiance?
I also want to know, if there is anything i can do that will get me more experiance, like practicing exept more xp?
And one last thing, how do i make a crafting marco? has any one got a step by step guide?
Thanks alot

another good resource for you: swgcraft.com. Tells you the all the things you can craft and when, what resources are required, what stats on the resources affect what, and how much xp you get per item (xp per unit of resource too). Also has a section where you can see all the resources on your server and their stats - pretty handy.
There's a crafting macro over on rpgexpert.com (click on Star Wars Galaxies), swgmedic.com, and a few other sites. Some have better explanations of what's going on than others. But there are lots of crafting macros out there - most of them are pretty similar.

This is very frustrating thoughhowever, what say if you not into marcoing or crafting/grinding it will take months/years to get anywhere to get well over 22k to 33k of general Crafting XP! for the next Proff! who need to get bored reall fast even with a macro cause you have to stll drop in your rescources!

If you think the 22 -33k ofgeneral crafting XPis bad you might want to reconsider the elite crafting professions. A few numbers to consider:
- Master Droid Engineer = 1,228,800 droid crafting XP
- Master Shipwright = 1,280,000 ship crafting XP
- Master Weaponsmith = 896,000 weapon crafting XP
- Master Armorsmith = 716,800 armor crafting XP
- Master Architect = 1,408,000 structure crafting XP
- Master Tailor = 819,200 Clothing crafting XP
- Master Chef = 819,200 Food crafting XP
Please bear in mind also that many of these professions do not have the high XP items to grind that artisan does. We have the personal extractors which allow us to grind general crafting XP very quickly. Many of the elite professions require you to grind with small items that yield less than 200 XP per item.

Ergh don't remind me. I managed to get ONE box in Tailor last night after a few days of on and off grinding.

I'll agree on most of these not having the high XP items. It's always astounded me that that WS and AS, 2 of the most profitable professions, have the lowest and 3rd lowest XP requirements whereas Architect, one that does bring in the credits but has almost zero resale, is the highest XP cost. Also pretty sad that ANY of these professions are able to be mastered in an hour.

Large Glasses are decent for grinding, not as much XP as a harvester, but very fast to craft. They take 100 gemstones, yielding 210 or 211 XP in practice mode. Using two tools without a macro, the waiting time between crafting is usually a fraction of a second; with any lag, that wait disappears. Three generic tools and a fast macro is probably optimal for this.
