I've done a search and had a look but i can't find what i'm after, but please tell me i'm an idiot if its plain ti see (after you've shown me)

Is there a list floating round anywhere of what resources different professions use for different things?

Ie. The best metals for a weaponsmith ect.

I've never played a crafter but I am looking to start one soon and want to know what to keep an eye out for when harvesting.

Note: If there isn't a guide around with this type of information in it, i'll look at making a post on each of the crafting forums asking for input and i'll try and put one together.

Try looking at http://www.swgcraft.com/ and checking thier schematic lists. You can choose a profession, and then choose what schematic you want to see from that profession. I am not sure if they have shipwright up yet, but the others professions are pretty much complete.

I also use swgcraft, but I look under the resource usage section. In this section you look upspecificresource and it tells you who uses it (if anyone) and what is used for. Like the other poster said the schematic list is also a good way to look resources up. Hope this helps.

Ahh, thankyou so much.

I've known of swgcraft for awhile but i never knew it was so helpful

Especially the Resource Usage section, know i can better plan i a good quialty spawn will help with my future.
