did your character's name change? I read in some other forums that people have been screwed by the CSRs changing names they deem inappropriate, but dont know if all their stuff was disappearing. It had sounded like they couldnt use their house/harvs anymore.

Have you used your complementary deaths with no corpse retrieval? Is there a chance you were killed at logout. Maybe you have a corpse at your point of departure. When you logged in where were you? At the same place you logged out? Cloning facility?

Just grasping for straws here.

After a patch one day a similar thing happened to me, altho I didnt lose everything. . .just the things that mattered =/. I had a ton of resources I had gathered preparing for a nice casual day of mindless muzzle making and came back after the patch to find all my resources gone. To my suprise(yeah right), the response I got from the bug report was basically. . .Sorry, too bad, so sad. Other than that instance I havent lost anything as of yet /knockwood.

well 1st.. my name didn't change.. it wasn't against reg's at all! actually i kept the last name that was given me and changed the first name, which was just a Normal everyday name.. so no thats not it.. and second I logged at the bank in City.. so the chance of death isn't likely; also since i logged back in at that same exact location.. and on top of it.. its also items from my bank.. I've got no clue hopefully helpdesk can do something otherwise i'm not sure i'll be staying around swg anymore, if the knowing that this could occur again, and helpdesk isn't willing to help.. its not worth me staying around..

I checked tech forums and some people there had it also.. some people posts were saying they removed "Illegal" items.. i don't know about that.. all my items were earned by hard work. and yet they are still gone. so i guess in the end we'll just havce to wait and see what message i get from helpdesk.

does the game track people by first name? for example usually when you /t someone you just have to give first name, and when you mail them too. So first name could be significant, but I still dont see how it would make items disappear. Did you do the first name change recently, like right before the time you had logged on where everything was gone? I really have no idea what could have happened. With all the bugs in the game anything is possible.

If you have a name that someone reports as offensive, non-starwarsy, or otherwise against the EULA, the CSRs have the ability to change your name to something more appropriate. I've heard that you can contest this or have it set to something of your choosing by contacting customer service.

As far as I know, first name is the only significant part of your name.
