Everyone who owns a house likes to display items on the wall. Two new commands are needed- "/move up" and "/move down" in order to place objects in single story homes. Has any Correspondent submitted this request? If no, why not?

There has to be a z-axis right? Its a 3D game, 3 dimensions, x, y and z. You could consider it 4D because time passes as well.

I agree, as do most if not all people with houses I'm sure (at least the ones who care what their place looks like). Right now I'm planning on putting up the weapons I make on my wall so people can see the stats and such. Thing is, using the stairs doesn't work for moving things out of the main room in the house. Seems they can't move past archways and doorways.

Oh well, I can wait

Agreed wholeheartedly. Why it wasn't put in to begin with is just mind boggling.

How can I display my fish without making wall-plaques of them? How can I display my guns, if they're not hanging on the wall? How can I possibly hope tomake my Sim-Star-Wars life complete without this feature?

Well.. maybe that's just silly, but this command idea is NOT!

Implement this!

The very fact that there is the stairs hack indicates that there is some sort of z-axis, even if it's not currently accessible.

**edit**. I should read these messages before I post them. That sentence was awful.

I wont even bother decorating a house untill this is implemented... and it really sucks because i had such neat ideas for decorating a house =(

oh well, i am thinking that the only reason to have a house is just so its big enough to have 2-3 vendors and thats it then.

Small-house for me! yay!

I'll add my voice to the chorus of complaints: not only do we need a z-axis set of commands, the /move back /forward and /rotate commands don't really work that well. I often find that in order toposition things right (facing out and flush with a wall), I need to move them /forward *into" the wall before issuing the /rotate command. And placing seats is a nightmare. The rotate command is totally counter-intuitive and does not rotate the item around the axis you'd expect.

BTW, how many items can you store in a small house?
