I just got a wearables factory earlier and put in a schematic for 100 synthetic cloth and all the resources and then turned it on. How long does it take for the factory to make them all?

as i've heard (never sat down and actually timed my factory) it's 8 seconds per complexity per item. seems right.

I've seen a couple people here and there talk about making 10 unit factory runs and have a question:
My general assumption was that the schematic was responsible for how many items were created. If I did 100 it would make 100 items then stop, is this not the case? Is the schematic the crate limit?
For instance, if I do a schematic for 10, and put enough resources for 100 items, will I come back to my factory with 10 resources used and a crate of 10 items, or will I have 10 crates of 10 items?
Or are these people babysitting the factory and hitting 'go' again every time a run finishes?
Inquiring minds want to know.

The schematic # is how many TOTAL items it will make. So when I put in a schematic for 99 Powerups I would come back and have 10 crates (one with only 9 in it).
If I had made the schematic for 10, I would only get one crate.
