I am trying to find out if resource names always have the same stats. I looked in the fourm but didn't find a definate answer.

ie. will resource x have stats a , b, c, d, e every time it spawns.

Resources spawn with random stats and a unique name. This name has never been repeated.

So to answer you question:

If you are looking at Ofik, an ore from a bit back that had great stats, you would never see Ofik spawn again.

You may (very unlikely, but it might happen) to see two Kelsh Coppers, Varium Carbonate Ore, etc. spawn with exactly the same stats, but you wounl'd be able to use them together in a schematic.

Basicaly, once you use up all the resources for a schematic, then the schematic is useless and should be destroyed.

If you're talking about a resource with the same name spawning on multiple planets, then yes, resource named X will always have the same stats. Resource types do not always have the same stats: Ogasis Neutronium Steelwill be different from Opoha Neutronium Steel. But all stacks of Opoha Neutronium will have the same stats, whether it was mined on Correlia, Lok, Rori, or Naboo.

As far as anyone has seen, once a particular resouce name despawns it's never seen again. The resource types cycle in and out with no real pattern.
