This is more of a general question than a profession specific question, but I hope you all will forgive me. Is there any way of sorting your backpack/inventory? If so, how is it done?

Sort inventory -> Click on change view -> Click on (Sort by) type -> Cick on change view .. voila

Not sure if you can do this with the bakpak.

Ty, I'm thinking more like:

I want this specific item to be at the top, next to this other specific item.

I want these 3 specific items to be in a group next to these other 4 specific items, type thing....

Am I making any sense? (I want to organise my pack like I did in AO, EnB and EQ, in other words)

What I used to do, I would shove everyting in a backpack or bank, then restore items into inventoory one-by-one in the order I want them to appear. It is not posssible to move items around unfortunately. It seems that SWG has this missing feature. And on top of that, the next time you die or login, it is quite likely that the items will be reordered so it's not worth the hassle.

Yah, pretty lame they didn't think to make it simple for us to do something as mundane as moving inventory stuff around to an order that suits our play style. Hopefully they patch a better method for inventory into the game as what we have now is just annoying.

I would love to see our inventory windows set up as in Windows Explorer....with folders that you can create, rename, add to, remove from, delete, at will. This way we can have a much better managed inventory and it will be a lot more user friendly.

Also, I'd like to see an option to disable animated inventory icons. I know I can display these as a list, but I like the large icon style and having 30 icons rotating around just kills my game perfromance.
