I am about to set up my first harvesters, which resource should I start with? Any general harvester info would be appreaciated too. Thanks.

Find some place that yields a good amount of Steel for your first harvester. Why? Because harvesters require up to 60 steel and up to 160 of some random metal to make, if you plan on making other harvesters this will greatly speed up the process. Aluminum is good too.

All depends on what you want to make. I do agree, steel is a good first one, even if it is just to get you a bunch to build others on what you want to make. If you're looking to grind, just build it wherever you can get the highest yield on what you want to grind with. If you're looking for quality, I'd suggest good quality copper, as it can be used to make good weapons and powerups.
