Thread: Why Artisans who don't take Domistics are missing out.
I'll do this so that everyone can understand. I am sorry to those of you who do not need to hear such simple terms.

Q: Who fails more when they use all of their experimentation points?
A: Engineer/Homemaker
See, the more experimentation points you use on a item, the more complex it gets and the harder it is to craft.
P.S.
Forgot to add this. True you will have a better product when you finish, but unless you have a factory to mass produce it, it is kind of worthless. Now, I know alot of people are gonna say that you can just hold on to the manufacturing schematic. Yes you can. But I would rather be able to produce it right off the bat so that I could make more credits.
You need to use higher quality materials. The higher the quality of the material the better your success rate.
IE:
CDEF Pistol with Arapine(low quality) and Relocine = 2% Experimentation
CDEF Pistol with Wedian(high quality) and Relocine = 20/15% Experimenation
I get a great success almost 90% of the time Experimenting with better Materials. There is also a trick to when you hit the Run Experiment Button in relation to the Red Bar on the right side of the experimention box. But thats another story.

Okay valid point about the selling now...
You use 6 Points and make a Blaster with a 25-50 Damage and 3.8 Speed
I use 12 and make a blaster with a 35-65 Damage and a 3.2 Speed
Your blaster will sell at Market Price because EVERYONE can make a blaster like that.
Mine sells for about 2500 because its unbelievably Rare.
Bonus Hint.
Package your Weapons with a Powerup when you sell them. a Good Weapon Powerup Increases Max Damage (by 20% or more) and Max Speed (By 15% or more). This will make your item more attractive to potential buyers. And many will come back to you simply for more powerups.

My only problem with that hint is it's sort of a scam. The power up will wear off so unless you put in the notes what the real stats are a player will buy it then get all huffy when the power up wears off. When I use a power up on a weapon before I sell I always put in it the notes so that they know full well what they are getting.
just my two cents
Sorry I was unclear... definitely Notify the customer that you are packaging it... I mean you should package it to sweaten the deal for your customers. Weapon Powerups are cheap to make and can really enhance an item if you do good experimentation. So they are a nice thing to throw in with a sale.
