I created a deed, went out to where i want to place the harvester, (among a bunch of other peoples harvesters as a matter of fact) and i click on use, it opens up a screen where i can pick where to put it... the right mouse button changes the orientation of the harvester (which way it faces) but I can't seem to place it....

When you're in area that you're allowed to build, usually about 1000 km from a city (after it says "Leaving So-and-so") it will switch to an overhead view. The areas on the map marked with a colored square with diagonal lines through them are NO-BUILD zones. All areas that are empty, even if they have a rock picture on them, can be built on. When you place your harvester in these blank areas the square will turn green. Just left click your mouse to place it at that point. Wind Generators require a bigger area (3x3 I believe) to place.
