Does macro mining even work anymore??

Im trying this:

/sample; /wait 570; /sit; /wait 180; /stand; /sample

and its telling me that there is nothing or noone by that name.. basically its saying that the "/wait 570" is erroneous.. can anybody else do this??

I'm pretty sure it is /pause and not /wait
