I did a quick check to see if this has come up in the boards, and from what I found it had not been seen since beta...

There is a supply for 1000 Overall Quality prime for the taking.... I've gotten my hands on a little over a thousand.

Thought everyone would like to know that it exists.

What material is it and what galaxy?? If its a material nobody really needs for overall weapons or armor.. or if its only on your galaxy... it might just change everyones mind... But very cool if it does exist.. be nice to see a really good copper come out like that.

Doesn't really help to have 1000 Overall Quality if the Decay Resistance is no good. If it's got a high DR then you've got something.

Ok, let me correct myself. Since fiberplast is an inorganic chemical then you can use it in anything that only requires an inorganic or a chemical. What I meant was that the only thing (to my knowledge) that specifically states a fiberplast requirement is clothing or clothing related components. For those OQ is only worth 16% of the formula. DR is 66% and UT is 16%. Therefore when I look for fiberplast my main focus is on a high DR. As luck would have it, right now I am harvesting fiberplast with a 999 DR.

Yep, high Decay Rating means better durability for the clothes, which means they last longer, which right now means they last forever just like all the other clothes. Grrrr.....

Man Gorath is getting shortchanged I think! I've never seen anything here with any stat higher than 970, and even that's very rare. I generally have to make due with stuff running between 800-900 tops. Luckily Unit Toughness is almost all we care about, so I only have to track one stat most of the time.
