And I am just curious if when it says how long my maintence money will last is in real time or game time. I put 5000 in just to try things out and it says something like 3 days 11 hours and 20 min. Does that mean in 3 and a half days the maintence will be empty again?

Yes.

The time given for power is a little funny. it will say something like 1:12 which means 60 hr + 12hr = 72 hr or 3 days.

Drawing from memory, I think a harvester takes 600 units of power a day, and 720 cr (or so) a day.

Wind harvesters need no power, but cost more. I cant remember how much.

Here is what I learned about harvesters. Figure out how much power and money you need to run the harvester for one day. For personals, it's about 520 power and 700 credits. I say this because from day to day resources can change. What happens when you put in 5000cr and 3000 power and the metal you just saw there is gone? You will cut your losses when resources shift and save loads of money and time in the long run.
