Two days ago I found an extremely rich deposit of Phrik AL on Talus. After sampling a few hundred units I left a waypoint and went on to do other things.

Today without looking at the survey tool I ran out to the waypoint; loaded up my survey tool and OH-NO; Phrik AL (Omnidosathehaide) is no longer on my list of items to scan for?

Is this normal? Is it possible that items come and go from the list of survey items? Now the only two Aluminum elements I can scan for are both very low quality junk IMHO compared to the Phrik I was harvesting a few days ago.

Could this also be patch related?

Most unfortuantly not only is this normal, but it is intended. Every 2 days or so they completely change around all the resourses. But it sure makes being an artisan fun! Running around all the time spending all your credits moving harvestors, trying to find another good resourse but you cant because you cant sample anymore....

well cripes; I guess I just learned a valuable lesson. Being that I'm new I took all my good resources to the bazaar for sales and didn't save any. Now that I want to construct items for sale I'm stuck using low grade stuff.

It's generally about 5-10 days between resource shifts, but the occasional day or two long resource does happen.
