Bothans and Mon Calamari get bonus for assembly which means they succeed more. This isn't gonna give you a huge edge in qaulity or anything, but might save a few resources over time.

Pretty much all races are on equal footing on crafting weapons

Wondering same as well..



Humans get +15 experimentation. Will that help in the long run? (more failures perhaps, but better experimented weapons overall?)

Rodians get the bonus to Weapon Assembly, not Bothans. (That's part of the reason why I chose a Rodian.)


As for the human Artisan Experimentation bonus... the only guns those are going to make a difference on are CDEFs. Once you hit Novice Weaponsmith, all of those weapons are working off a different skill mod (Weapon Experimentation).

I would go Rodian or Mon Calamari; Mon Calamari also get a like bonus to structure assembly.
