Artisan Archive

Any one who is "just and Artisan" and is interested in getting together to help each other in getting to the Master level, let me know.

Here's my idea...

Once you get most or all of the Artisan skills tree filled up, you begin accumulating "extra" crafting and surveying xp. It takes 10,500 general crafting xp or surveying xp to fill up a column. If you have this much or more extra xp, then you can surrender a column of skills and then have that same column taught back to you.

For example, I want to get to Master Weaponsmith. I have all columns in the Artisan skill tree filled AND I have over 10,500 extra general crafting xp. If I were to surrender all of my business or domestics column, you could teach it back to me. I could do the same for you. This translates to easy apprenticeship xp.

Any takers, "tell" or email me. I'm usually online Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon from 6 to 9pm (central time).

Ok, just so you understand, that if you give up those exp points youll have to earn them all again. To become novice Weaponsmith you'll need all the eng filled plus 22000? gen exp.. .. If you do what you are saying, and drop all of dom arts for example, then learn it back, you'll have to use all your extra exp you have atm, then re exp to be able to get to novice weaponsmith.. Now if you are already working on that tree, then never mind. I know what you are saying you'll do, but not sure if you are saying it right lol.

Thats a great plan for getting the Novice Artisan's to Master. That was the hardest part for me. It took so long. Fred, what he is trying to say is this...

Once you move into a specialised profession, in this case Weaponsmith, everything you create/craft doesnt count to 'General Crafting XP' anymore, its specialised XP. What he is saying is, the hardest part of becoming Master is getting Apprenticeship XP. So, to help that, he is willing to drop a line or skill in his Artisan profession so that the person trying to become Master can train him and get the Apprenticeship XP. As he has 'spare' General Crafting XP this wont matter to him.
