I cannot see why this needed to be nurfed, please bring Hexa code back.. All us Tailors, Armorsmiths, Weaponsmiths, Artisans, Smugglers, Droid Engeneers (god to they need some love), Scouts, Rangers, Merchants, Bio-Engeneers, Doctors, Medic's, Architects and Chef's (are they still some out there)... We had fun and it gave us a chance to personalize our products. For the love of Lucas bring those hexa codes back...

Agreed. I have /signed that petition and am very interested in getting the color back into the text.
I'm undecided on this. I think that on personal vendors and premium auctions should allow hex code.
Chat should not allow hex code.

Not just fun! It served a very real purpose. There are three components required for meds and they are constantly being made in batches. Color coding those batches was a GODSEND to all medics, doctors and combat medics! Saved me a lot of time and a lot of headaches.
Taking it away reminds me of children playing in the yard. They didn't give us the toy and say we could play with it, so they're going to take it away. It didn't hurt a thing and added quite a bit to the game.
My take on this was they felt the change was needed because of the Bazaar issue. Items on the Bazaar using hex code were being listed first, due to the special characters needed. I was hoping they could just find a way to make the Bazaar or other vendors ignore the special characters, but either they didn't think about it, it was too much trouble, or there is another reason to stop coloring item names.
Whatever the case I also enjoyed the ability. I used it to add my company name to the end of the names of items that had charges, made the name stand out for when it was time to buy more of those consumables.
Yeah, coloring parts helped me keep them visible and separate in my storage packs. I found it to be helpful keeping different makes of the same part separate, as well.
when you run orders for 17 different people a day, colors were a requirement, without them, I will have to cut back on my buissness

yes and the Hexa code made it a little easier for me to keep track of my factory crates of same parts I was selling.
