Thread: Inserting items into vending machines
I've noticed the maintenance costs of my Vendorbot have dropped through the floor.
Previously, I'd place about 20k's worth of items on it and the costs for running it would be astronomical. With this in mind, when I moved to a larger house and set up a new vendor (having emptied and de-activated my previous one) I dropped a lot of credits onto the machine, stocked it up with a LOT of stuff (maybe 60k's worth of items), yet the maintenance rate is really low, about 15c a day...
Any ideas? (Not that I'm complaining!)

Pre-patch, the vending machine and robo-bartender had maintenance of 1cr + 1 credit / 1k creditsmerchandinse. So a vendor loaded with 60k's worth of stuff would cost 61 credits/hour. The NPC vendors available at Novice Merchant would always stay at 1 credit / hour.
After the patch, all vendors cost 15 cr / hr, no matter how much the stock costs. Well, they're cheaper for merchants with skills in Efficiency (I think you get "reduced vendor costs" at II or III).
